Short Biography

Keshu ramsay was born in the year 1955. He was an Indian Actor, producer, Director and Cinematographer. 'Ramsay' means association with horror films. The extensive clan, whose major is FU Ramsay, are the founders of horror films in India cinema. Banking on the success of 'Do Gaz Zameen Ke Neeche', the Ramsays, over the next few decades, horrified theatre-goers with their ghosts and stories of ghost bungalows. 

Keshu Ramsay Complete Bio & Career

After assisting his father for a considerable time, Keshu launched his directorial debut in Hindi cinema with the horror thriller 'Haveli'. However, he risked to do something different than others in his extended family, Keshu's taste changed from spirits to action. Riding away on his own and taking the Ramsay name forward, he slowly and steadily but surely made his mark with adding commercial quotient to his set-up with his Khiladi series of flicks. Of the 13 films, he produced in his entire career, more than half of them have the word Khiladi in their title, casting his favourite actor and friend, Akshay Kumar, who was indeed his discovery.

Keshu Ramsay untimely passed away on 19th October 2010. The veteran filmmaker suffered a massive attack and left the earth. He is survived by his three sons Mayur (Aryaman), Dinesh and Sagar.
